A woman who lived in a rattan house in Rajasthan has died of cancer.
The wife of the deceased Rani Devi, aged 65, was admitted to a hospital in Rajashakar district on Thursday.
Rani Devi was living in the house, owned by her son, Rani Dravid, on the outskirts of Bhuj in Rajastan district.
The hospital administration said on Friday that Rani was admitted on Friday morning.
Ranjit Kumar Singh, the head of the hospital administration, said that Ransi had been admitted to the hospital with an acute lung infection.
The condition was reported to be stable on Saturday morning.
“We have taken her to the Rajasthani Medical College Hospital in Panchkula, where she is being treated for a respiratory condition,” Singh told reporters.
“We are yet to collect the body but are confident that she will be released soon.”
The body of Rani has been sent to Rajastha.
