The Bachelorettes star Ryan Reynold is stepping away from The Bachelor and moving to New York to pursue a career in entertainment.
Reynold told People magazine that he is leaving The Bachelor after only one season and wants to focus on a career as a music producer.
“It’s going to be a much better place to work,” he said.
“I’m leaving for New York because I think there’s more potential in it.
I’m trying to make a life for myself, which is what I’ve always wanted to do.”
Reynolds is not the only Bachelor contestant who has decided to take a step back.
Last year, The Bachelor cast member who was rumored to be dating Kylie Jenner revealed he had made the decision to leave.
Reid is not alone.
The show has already been forced to remove a host from the program, which was already losing viewers due to the popularity of the new Bachelor.
The Bachelor airs Mondays on ABC.
